About the program
Our Youth Advisory Council is for anyone aged 15–25 years who wants to influence, co-design and deliver initiatives that improve awareness, education and advocacy relating to consent, respectful relationships, dating safety and sexual violence prevention in Western Australia.
AMPLIFY THE YOUTHS VOICE
Ensure young people are actively involved in shaping WWYW programs, campaigns, resources and advocacy.
BUILD YOUTH LEADERSHIP
Receive practical training and experience in leadership, advocacy,public speaking, project design, event management and community engagement.
DELIVER YOUTH-LED INITIATIVES
Design and deliver projects addressing issues identified by young people themselves.
